COLLEGE DIARIES
EPISODE:7
..."What happened? You look like you saw a ghost!", Sophie said.
I said nothing and handed her my phone. It buzzed once again in Sophie's hand. Her eyes grew wider and wider but she remained speechless. I snatched it from her. It was another message, from the same number.
"You look prettier when scared.", it said.
"Do you have any idea who this is?", Sophie, at last, asked looking here and there, inspecting the place.
"I've got no clue...but whoever this person is, he is here, watching me."
"Can it be Pete? What do you think?", Sophie asked.
"I don't know and besides he is nowhere here."
"Do you think this can be a prank?", I asked her.
"It's not the first of April, nor is it the month of April...and I don't think it's a prank. At least it looks serious to me", she answered.
I blocked the number and tried to get my mind off things. Soon, it was the end of the day and I was at the bike stand, as usual, waiting for Ethan and Sophie. As Sophie and I were gonna have a sleepover that day at my place.
*********
"Oh! There you are! Tell me one thing Ethan-Why are you late? I mean you are always late!", I said when I saw Ethan after fifteen minutes of waiting which seemed like forever.
"Well, I am the party manager now. So, Mr.David wants me to prepare every single thing in advance. I am sorry I-"
"Okay!Okay!I forgive you.", I said in a rather mischievous tone.
Then, I saw Sophie approaching us. She looked worried and if she looked worried then something had gone wrong because she is a 'happy-go-lucky' kinda person.
"What is it? What happened?", I asked.
"It's my phone! I searched for it everywhere I could but I can't seem to find it anywhere! Oh my God! I am so frustrated today."
"Hey! Chill, we will find it together. Come on !", Ethan said and we all went back to the building.
"Let's check it in your desk, Sophie, because that's where you usually keep your phone during the lectures.", I said.
We went to the class and searched it everywhere but Sophie's phone was still missing.
"Where do you remember keeping it?", Ethan asked.
"I think I left it at the cafeteria but...I am not sure about it..", she replied.
"Fine. Let's go check in there.", Ethan said and we went to the cafe.
Thankfully, Sophie's phone was right at the table we were there at lunch. However, something was different. It was the canary yellow sticky note stuck on the table below her phone.........
