EPISODE:77

          ...Mom started behaving extra crazy on Friday. In the evening, she came all excited.

"Look, Daisy! I got this beautiful top for you to wear tomorrow!", she said, showing me a lemon yellow colored plain turtle neck top...' beautiful? Eww, what a choice!', I thought to myself.

"Do you like it?", she asked, when she saw me staring at the top.

"Yes...beautiful.", I lied.

"Okay, take this and do wear this tomorrow.", she said, giving it to me. It looked okay and I also remembered the fact that she hadn't given it to me out of love or as a gift, she had given it to me because I was going to meet a boy she wanted me to marry. That evening, Ethan texted me,

"Are you sure you want me to come tomorrow???"

"Of course.", I replied.

"Why so?", he texted to which I replied,

"Friends support friends, don't they?", along with a smiley emoji.

       The next morning, mom came to wake me up at eight-thirty, as if I had a meeting or an interview to attend. I got up and ready, wore the top(and it looked pathetic so I layered it up with a jacket), tied my hair in a braid, and went downstairs.

"Excuse me? What's this hairstyle and where's your makeup?", mom asked, stopping me.'Hahaha...hairstyle and makeup? Daisy?', I thought.

"I don't have any makeup...I don't wear makeup"

"Why not?", she asked, throwing me a disgusted look.

"Because our Daisy is already very pretty, so what need of makeup, right?", grandma said. Mom laughed,

"That is old thinking...come, Daisy, let's get that face some makeup on!", she said, taking me upstairs. I opened my mouth to argue but grandma motioned me to stop. She always does that. Huh!!! She took out her 'makeup bag' which was a big, pastel blue colored pouch. First, she took out foundation,

"Mom!!!", I said, covering my face.

"What is it, Daisy? We don't have much time!", she said, looking at her wristwatch.

" Ummm...I got a foundation allergy...", I lied, she raised her eyebrow.

"Fine". Next, she removed a contour stick.

"Mom!! Wait for a second...I have...makeup allergy!"

"What nonsense is that?! Then what do you want me to put?"

"Umm...some eye shadow will be good?".She frowned,

"You are unbelievable! I will leave this makeup stuff to you and do whatever you want, okay?".I nodded and she went down. 'Yayy! I won!!!', were the words constantly running in my mind but I also knew that I had to use some amount of makeup or she wouldn't leave me. So, I removed the eye shadow palette and quickly brushed some lemon yellow colored pigment on my eyelids. But it came out super dark! I took a tissue and started removing the excess pigment to lighten my eyelids and thankfully it worked. Next, I used one of my lip balms and ta-da! I was ready! I went downstairs and she looked at me like she was examining me.

"You haven't done anything in so much of time!", she shouted.

"Oh I have...you just can't see it. Okay, mom...bye! See you later..", I said, waved grandma and Lucy goodbye as well, and quickly left my house.

"And don't you dare go someplace else!", I heard mom shout as I was closing the door behind me which made me chuckle. I reached the place in no time. It was a cafe that had chairs arranged out on the lawn. I saw Sophie and Ethan sitting much far away, I waved them hello. I glanced and saw Liam sitting a distance away and I knew it was him because he was looking right at me. I gave him the best smile I could and approached his table.
