          ...Time went very fast after lunch and I was at the bike stand as I had promised Ethan. Sophie was not there with me as she walks home. I offered her a ride but she politely refused it. Moreover, I was not sure if I could manage another person as I had never tried doing that earlier. So it was safe for Sophie to walk home than having a ride from me.

 Anyways, as I was waiting for Ethan, I saw the 'flirt king' approaching me. I pretended that I didn't see him but there he was, standing right in front of me.

"Hey, darling! Cool highlights, which salon do you visit", he asked in the most irritating voice.

I looked at him square in the eye and said,

 "Excuse me, it would be much appreciated if you call me by my name. I go by 'Daisy'.And my hair you're talking about, huh? Well, that's none of your business."

   The words came out in a very calm yet arrogant tone. His face went pale...especially when he heard me say the last sentence and without another word, he walked away.

 "Wow! That was amazing...", came Ethan's voice from behind me.

 "Ethan, you are late.", I said turning around.

 "I know...I am sorry. I just got stuck up with Mr.David.He wants me to be the party manager. Can you imagine?"

"Party? What party?", I asked.

"Oh yes! you don't know yet. The 'Dance Party'.It's a fun day each year. It's next weekend"

"That's nice", I said.

Ethan and I were not riding with our bikes but we were walking with our bikes. As Ethan said, the bike ride will be too fast and we would get zero time to talk.

"So, who do you stay with?", he asked.

"My grandma and my younger sister Lucy"

"And your parents?"

Again, that awkward pause.

"My dad died when I was four and my mom lives in France for work.", I replied, though I was tired of answering the same question the second time.

"Oh sorry, Daisy. I had no idea."

"It's okay", I said, and to change the topic I quickly added,

"Everything happens for good is what I believe. I mean my mom being away has made me an independent person. I am proud that I earn at this age ", I said and added,

"Not bragging though..."

"Of course you are not bragging. But hey! You work? That's so fab! what do you do?", and then he looked kind of embarrassed and said,

"Sorry if I am being too nosy though..."
