                             EPISODE:30

..."Daisy! For God's sake pick up her phone. She's calling for the sixth time!", said Lucy when mom actually called for the sixth time.

"Why did you tell her about grandma in the first place?!", I questioned.

"How could I not !?".I hadn't talked to mom for four months. Yes, FOUR months. We rarely ever spoke and at that time there was Lucy, forcing me to talk to her.

"Tell her I am asleep.", I said.

"She knows the fact that you don't sleep this early.", Lucy replied, giving me an annoyed look.

"I must be tired or something, right? Tell her that I went to sleep because I was wiped out for the day".Thankfully, she did just that and our telephone got some rest from ringing. It was eleven O'clock and at that time my phone rang. When I saw it was Ethan, my heart started beating like crazy.

"Here, pick up.", Sophie said, passing me the phone.

"You pick up.", I said because I just couldn't pick up, my heart was still pounding.

"Hello?", Sophie said and after a moment she again passed me the phone saying, "He wants to speak to you".I somehow managed to take it from her and trust me or not, a million thoughts were running in my mind at this point.

"Hello?"

"Daisy! Just a second !", he said and there was a pause. After a minute, I heard my most loving and favorite voice. The voice of the person who has always, always been there for me...no matter what.

"Daisy, I heard you won't eat dinner tonight. What's the matter?"

"Grandma!!!", I literally shouted out of joy and did a little dance around my room while Sophie smiled at me.

"Grandma, how are you? Are you fine? Did they operate you or something? Did you-", I had a million questions for her.

"Oh my God, Daisy! Yes! I am completely fine!", she answered with a laugh. Her voice was full of strength and joy.

"I can't wait to see you! I'll reach there in some time!"

"I am afraid you can't. The hospital is already closed for outsiders but you can come tomorrow.", she answered in her soft voice.

"That's disappointing but I think I'll have to wait.", I answered.

"And have dinner!"

"I will !", I said with a broad smile.
