                                          COLLEGE DIARIES
                                  EPISODE:31

...It was the next morning and I woke up because of Sophie disturbing me, screaming in my ears.

"Stop it!!!", I said and took the other pillow to cover my ears.

"Daisy! Get up! It is NINE in the morning!", she shouted again and she sounded like it was one in the afternoon. I had been extremely tired the previous day due to which I was unable to wake up.

"You are irritating me!", I said, getting up.

"We need to go to the hospital if you still remember".

"Huh? Ya right! Let's go!", I said getting out of my bed. I quickly ate the cheese-corn fryums from last night, got myself ready, and went to the hospital. As I entered the room along with Sophie, I saw grandma resting right away, she was deep asleep so I chose to not disturb her while Ethan was speaking on the phone, looking out the window. When he saw us, he motioned a quick "Hi !".I went ahead and sat on the chair near the bed. I looked at grandma...her face as soft as a feather, she looked peaceful and calm.

"Daisy! Sophie! How are you?", he questioned looking at me.

"We are good. How about you?", I asked.

"Daisy?", I suddenly heard grandma's soft voice.

"How have you been?!", I almost squealed as I happily hugged her.

                              ***************************

As we all exited the hospital and into the parking lot, Sophie got mad when she saw the car. She nudged my elbow and whispered,

"OH MY GOD, Daisy! This is a Ferrari!!!".And she was gawking at the car like some starving people who gawk at the sight of food.

"Stop it or I'll kill you, Sophie!", I whispered back angrily.

"You just don't understand how lucky you are!", she whispered again, this time quite louder with excitement and at this point, I felt like slapping her. Hard.

"Stop looking at the car, Sophie! I swear, stop it. You are looking like a fool doing that so for God's sake PLEASE-",

"Fine, okay! I promise I won't take another look.", she said, still looking. On our way home, I was sitting in the back seat, grandma in the front and stupid Sophie beside me.

"Your granddaughter's really stubborn.", Ethan said while driving, looking at me in the rear-view mirror with a half-smile.

"Can't deny the fact...she's a stubborn father's stubborn daughter.", grandma replied with a laugh.

                                                                                        TO BE CONTINUED...
