        ...As we were having dinner that night, grandma said,

"What are you so engrossed in thinking about, Daisy?".At that time did I realize that I was just sitting with a spoon in my hand for the past ten minutes and not eating anything. I was thinking.

"Oh, nothing. Just thinking about what to gift Ethan...his birthday's this weekend".She smiled and said,

"How about a wristwatch?"

"Grandma,...he wears Patek Philippe and all those kinds of rich ones...how can I give him a..."

"Oh, I know! You can gift him a hoodie...you know the one which is super trendy right now. I have seen all the celebrities wearing those these days!", Lucy said excitedly. I smiled weakly,

"How much is it for?"

"No, it's not necessary you gift him a branded one-"

"No, Lucy...I can't give him something which is from the thrift store and something which is...unbranded...", I said weakly.

"Daisy, listen...it does not matter how expensive the gift is, what truly matters is the amount of love and thought you've put in giving it. Don't you worry, we'll come up with a great idea for his birthday!", grandma said with a smile.

"Thanks, grandma...Thank you so much!", I said hugging her.

    The next morning I woke up, opened the curtains, and saw a black Ferrari parked a little away from our lawn. Now, the area where I live is not the kind of area where someone can expect to see such cars. 'Ethan?', I thought in my mind. But as soon as I opened my curtains more to get a better view, the car moved away swiftly. It felt like I was Tom and it was Jerry. I ran downstairs and said,

"Lucy, was Ethan here?".She had just waked up. With an annoyed look, she said,

"Are you nuts? Look at the clock! It is SEVEN AM in the morning...why will he be here at this time?".Then it hit me. And it hit me hard. It was not Ethan's car. It was the car I saw on my birthday in the parking lot of Inox. It was the same car which had driven fast past us...threatening our lives. But what I did not know was how much trouble I was in.

  DREAMFUL   CHAPTER:21         ... It was Saturday, the day Destiny had been waiting all her life...her first-ever professional photoshoot day and she was exuberant about it. She quickly took a shower and got dressed in a white cropped tee shirt and some dark denims, put up a messy bun of her black medium-length hair, and chose a pair of knee-high boots to go along with her look. She decided to not do any makeup as it was no use since the pageant would anyways provide the services. She took her black furry jacket off the hook of her bedroom door...it was a chilly Amsterdam morning and without a jacket, one could freeze, so it was mandatory.   DREAMFUL   CHAPTER:35                 ... 'This is not the time to cry, Dez, come on!', her heart told her as she started knocking on random doors in the hallway. Some doors didn't open at all, some had loud music on, and some simply refused of owning a pair of shoes. It was all futile. Ten minutes for her turn to arrive, no shoes and she was begging for shoes, that's what she was doing. Destiny was about to turn her back, go to her room, pack her bag, get out of there, go home- A door behind her opened revealing an almond-eyed girl. Whether she was truly almond-eyed or was it the makeup...Destiny had no time to decide. Dez took one look at her and glanced at the door name tag- 'CORAL ELLIS'. "Hi, I'm Coral, you look worried?"
