           ...The next day while I was doing the laundry, our doorbell rang at about ten am. Lucy went for the door but when she returned and I saw her cheesy smile when she looked at me, I realized it was Ethan.

"Good Morning grandma", he said and then looked at me,

"Good Morning Daisy!"

"Good Morning!", I said, setting up the washing machine timer.

"Your phone's dead?", he asked.

"Dead? No, it's alive...I mean, it's working.",...I can be very stupid sometimes...

"Is it? Are you sure?", he asked confused.

"Anyway, you are coming tomorrow, right?", he asked. I looked at grandma who was already looking at me and said,

"No...I am so sorry I won't come.", I said looking away.

"No probs, just a second.", he said, took out his phone, and started typing. After about five minutes, he smiled and said,

"Okay, done! I am looking forward to your dinner party tomorrow...!"

"No, but you told me you had your own plans for tomorrow so why?".He thought for a second,

"Wanna go out?"

"No, Ethan, answer me first and tell-"

"Come, I want to show you something new!", he said, cutting off my statement and trying to change the topic.

"But-", I was about to argue but then grandma looked at me with a stern look and said,

"Daisy, you go...I'll complete the laundry".Now, her look and her sentence, both, were an indicator that I should go out and stop arguing.

"Fine...", I said keeping away the detergent liquid in the shelf and walking out the door.

"Remember you told me the other day that you have always wanted to drive a car?", Ethan said once we were out the door.

"Yes, topic changer...I did!", I said annoyed. He laughed,

"Then come on, let's make your dream come true.", he said and took me to a car which was parked a little away from our lawn. It was the prettiest car I had ever seen in my entire life! A GOLDEN LAMBORGHINI...I just stared at it in awe...I mean this was the third car I had seen and...it looked so new and so rich and expensive...it looked like it just came from the heavens. He opened the drivers' door and said,

"Go ahead". 'Is this boy gone mad...?!', I thought in my mind because I didn't know how to drive and how can someone who does not know how to drive, drive 'this' car???

"I don't know how to drive.", I said looking at him.

"Just go ahead and sit."

"But I swear I-"

"SIT". 'Daisy...if something ever goes wrong and this car is destroyed...even if you teach martial arts twenty-four hours a day to thirty batches throughout your life...you won't be able to pay for the expense...', my mind told me and it was true! I sat anyway...my hands shivering like crazy. He sat in the seat next to me.

"What happened? It's not at all cold...why are you shivering?", he laughed.

"Ethan, listen to me...this is not a joke at all...I don't want to see this really pretty car in a destroyed condition...please".

"Now, grip the steering".I just looked at him. Here I didn't know how to drive and he is asking me to hold the steering.WOW!!!

"Grip it.", he said again. I did anyway and the car started moving. I looked at him again.

"Look ahead", he said. I think while I was looking ahead, he did something with the speed because the next moment the car was running like a cheetah. I screamed and covered my eyes...I was not ready to see how was I dying...no way. And while I still had my eyes covered and I was still freaking out to death, he said,

"Daisy, it's automatic".I slowly uncovered my eyes...truly...it was automatic...it was magnificent, it was fabulous...I was just sitting and this thing was driving on its own. I shot him an angry look,

"Thanks for scaring me to death! Don't talk to me now!".He laughed,

"You think it's funny? Laugh then!".He pressed another button which made the car stop.

"See, I am sorry, I just-"

"DON'T TALK TO ME!", I said coming out the door.

"I was just making your dream come true...nothing else."

"What if I would have died?!!!!", I shouted at him.

"How could I have let that happen?", he said with the best smile and charm in his deep brown eyes...
