                        ...Claudia returned after about fifteen minutes and she looked so mad at Ethan...I knew it was going to happen. But since it was almost dinner time and all the guests were already around, she couldn't do anything other than whispering in my ear,

"He's a real, total idiot!"

"I heard that!", he said with a laugh.

"Congratulations then!", she replied angrily. Now, if I knew that this place was Ethan's house, I don't think I would have accepted the party request because it felt weird...if you know what I mean. There was a long table placed in a huge room which had all the beauty in the world. You know the dining table we see in movies? Just like that...it felt awesome to see such a big table in real life. The room was extra huge with diamond chandeliers up on the ceiling...each one throwing different colored magnificent lights...in short, the room felt like heaven.

"Ethan! Coming for dinner?", one of his friends, who had a guitar with him called. He turned around and said,

"You guys sit! I'll catch you up later!".During dinner, Claudia sat beside me and Ethan sat right in front of me. The table was full of all the dishes in the world...desserts, gravies, sea-food, roasted food, and what not...that was the moment I started feeling like an idiot. I mean, I invited Ethan to my house...at his birthday...and what did I cook? soba noodles, meatballs, tater tots, macaroni? It felt...I don't know! He left such a beautiful party to come to my house and eat noodles?!!! While I was in my own thoughts, Ethan was filling up my plate with all the dishes...I instantly covered it before he put any more food.

"You told me you have two sisters?", I asked him.

"One is here, a headache", he said eyeing her mischievously with a hidden smile,"... and the other headache is still at university...Thank God!", he said making a gesture.

"She didn't come for the party?"

"We were planning to throw this party after she returns from university...that is after two months...but she told us to continue with it.", Claudia answered. Then she talked more about what her sister was studying at university.

"Daisy, I read 'The Puppets-2'...It's a wonderful story!", Ethan said, towards the end of dinner. I almost jumped when I saw the time in the big, fancy clock. It was nine pm already and I had promised grandma to be home by then...not that she would ground me or shout at me for not coming on time...but I liked being honest with her every time...because that's the bond me and grandma share with each other.

"I need to get home...", I said to both of them.

"Already? Can't you wait some more time...please?", Claudia pleaded.

"Grandma told me to be back until nine and it's nine ten now."

"Do you want me to call and ask her to let you stay for a while more...even Claudia wants you to wait...", Ethan said.

"And hey! He even has an orchestra tonight at ten thirty...you liked his music, right? So you can stay!", Claudia said excitedly. I looked at him.

"I think I should get home now...but I would certainly love hearing you sing someday!", I said with a smile.

"But Daisy-", Claudia was about to say something when Ethan cut her statement,

"Claudia...you shouldn't force her...Daisy, how did you come?".I understood his question after about one minute.

"By bus.", I replied.

"I'll drop you home,wait...I'll bring the car keys", he said and turned.

"Ethan...no.I'll go by myself..no problem."

"You won't go by bus at this time for sure", he said and went away to get the keys before I said anything. There was zero use arguing with him. As we got out of the house, Claudia called,

"Had the best time with you, Daisy! Meet you next time at the veggie store?", she laughed.

"Sure!", I smiled back at her.If you are thinking which car did he remove...well, I'll tell you. He came with a white Rolls Royce. It was a beautiful one, not gonna lie.' Where do they store all these cars?!!!', I thought to myself.

"You wanna drive?", he asked me with a smile when he opened the passenger door for me.

"Good joke.", I replied, looking at him angrily.

"I know.", he answered with a million-dollar smile.
