         ..."Why didn't you tell me earlier!??? Throw it in the-"

"Daisy! That's it! Did I teach you to misbehave like that? What did he do to you that you are so mad?"

"What did he do to me? Grandma, he has broken my trust!", I said and went up to my room and lay on my bed...Tears filled my eyes again...' Why do people have to behave two faced each time? One day you call me words and the other you bring me a cake? UNBELIEVABLE!!!'

       The next day at college, I parked my bike and went straight into the campus...I did see Ethan standing a distance away and he was looking at me. Sophie as well, she didn't speak to me, however, she had called me the previous day...I didn't pick up.

It was almost three days we weren't speaking and life had become so much boring! Everything felt so different and weird...me spending most of my time in the library with a book...I missed the cafeteria, I am not gonna lie, I didn't have anyone to talk to...days felt so much bigger...my phone didn't ring, nor did it have any new texts...it felt miserable! One part of my mind kept telling me to go and speak to him, ask him about the texts but the other part was equally stubborn which stopped me from that...I didn't know which part of the mind should I follow!!! A big problem came up that day...I forgot to return the 'Logo study reference guide' which I had borrowed from the library on the day I was supposed to return it...trust me, the only reason why I borrowed it was because it was an 80$ book which I couldn't really afford. I gave it to Mr. Spencer, our librarian. He looked at me strictly.

"This book", he tapped "...is an overdue, two days overdue! You have to pay for the late due now!"

"Umm,...I know it's an overdue Mr.Spencer but can you please accept it...I promise it won't happen next-"

"No! no, no, no, Miss. You got no special rules. Just like others, YOU PAY THE DUE !!!!", he said. I sighed.

"Look, Mr.Spencer, I don't carry money along with me, I'll pay it-", I didn't even complete my sentence when a voice interrupted.

"Swipe this card, Mr, Spencer and cut the late due please".I looked up. It was Ethan.Mr.Spencer looked from me to Ethan and from him to me again...I swear it felt odd.

"The charge is-"

"Don't say it", Ethan interrupted.

"Very fine of you to help her out of trouble, huh?", Mr.Spencer said, looking at him and returning him the credit card.

"Thanks, Mr.Spencer! Take care", he said and got out of the library. The fact that he didn't even look at me killed me...but he had helped me out of trouble that day...Trouble no.2 for the day was much worse. Something had gone wrong...my bike wouldn't pedal...however much I tried pedaling it. I put my backpack on the ground and sat to fix it. It was a drop chain, so I started fixing it ...and nothing happened.

"Get side", I heard a voice and I didn't even need to look up. I knew it was Ethan...trying to help me out for the second time in the day.

"No Thanks. I'll fix it up.", I said, without looking up. He went towards the other side and started fixing up the dropped chain.

"I said I'll do it!"

"You don't know how it's done", he said, still fixing the chain. There was no use arguing with him. After about five minutes,

"Here, it's all fixed up now!", he said, looking at me.

"Thank you...thanks a lot.", I said.

"No problem!", he said and went away...
