...He was quickly taken to the ICU. I called Sophie while I was still in tears and thankfully, she picked up. I told her everything and she quickly came as well. She looked pale. As soon as she came, I hugged her tight and all my tears came back again...I remembered how I had ignored her as well which made me cry even more. She hugged me back.

"Sophie...I am sorry...don't forgive me! I don't even deserve to be forgiven!!! I am so so so so sorry!".She made me sit on a nearby seat and wiped my tears, some tears appearing in her eyes as well...,

"How could I not forgive you, silly! Remember? We are best friends forever!", she said. I hugged her again.

"I have been nothing but stupid!".Then I told her the whole thing about the note I found beside Ethan. And it wasn't easy telling her the whole thing all between my crying.

"And I thought you both were going out!", I told her.

"Daisy...you don't know how much he values you...you know when you were mad at him, he used to always tell me how pretty you looked in that yellow tee shirt or that pink dress!", she said, sitting beside me.

"This is all my fault!", I said. That day I felt so bad...about everything. If I had let Ethan talk to the police much before when all this had started...this would not have happened...

"Did you tell grandma and Lucy? Does Ethan's family know about this?", Sophie asked.

"You tell grandma...and I don't know how to contact his family! I don't have anyone's number!!!", I slapped my forehead. She told me to calm down and called grandma and told her the whole thing. Thanks to Sophie because I couldn't even speak...I was speechless. After about some time, the doctor came out of the ICU. And he came straight to me.

"Are you his sister?", he asked.

" No! I am his...friend?..."

"We have a few questions to ask you but before that-"

"Please tell me how is he right now.", I said, getting up and cutting off the doctor's statement. He looked quite worried which made my shivering levels go very high.

"Look. He'd had a major car accident.His condition is not very good as of now...we just have a 50-50 chance".I felt myself going dizzy....a nauseatic feeling overtook me and after about a minute, I couldn't feel anything...all I could see was darkness...everywhere.

      I could feel my eyes slowly lifting, waking up. Although everything appeared blurred, I still knew that it was grandma, Lucy and, Sophie sitting beside me, grandmas' hand on my forehead. While to my other side, I saw Claudia, Sophie, and another girl I didn't know. I got up and sat...I found myself on the hospital bed...'Why am I here?", I thought to myself. I rubbed my eyes and then just remembered everything that had happened.

"Where is Ethan and how is he!?", I shouted.

"Miss. Daisy...you should tell us how you feel right now?", came in the doctor with a notepad in his hand.

"Why am I here?", I asked. But they all remained silent. I fixed my eyes on Sophie and asked her,

"Sophie, tell me why am I here?"

"When doctor told you about Ethan, you just fell off and fainted...thank God you are fine!", she said with a weak smile.

"Thank you so much, Daisy...for bringing Ethan to the hospital and all...I am so glad you are fine now...", Claudia said. The doctor came in and asked,

"So, how do you feel about 'yourself' at the moment?"

"I feel fine...I just got a lot nervous and-"

"You don't have to now...he is better than he was before.", he said, cutting me off.

"Can I see him?".He looked down.

"Sorry to say, but no.I'll let you know when you can see him", he said, did a quick check-up with the stethoscope, and left by saying that you need not take so much of stress. I looked at Lucy and she looked worried. That look on her face I had never seen before.

"Lucy! How did you come here?", I asked, because she was going through therapy as she had Agoraphobia.

"How could have I not?", she said, coming toward me and hugged me. The other girl, whom I didn't know stretched out her hand and said,

"Hello, Daisy.My name is Eva.I am Ethan's sister".I shook her hand and said,

"I am sorry to left you unnoticed, Eva but I'm super tensed at the moment.", I said.

"I know. Thanks for bringing him in here...hopefully he'll be okay?", she said, fear in her eyes.

"He will be better than ever!", my grandma said with a lot of confidence.
