          COLLEGE DIARIES

            EPISODE:55

             

 ...That night, when I got home and narrated the whole story to Lucy and grandma, Lucy said,

"You should have waited to hear his song".I looked at her and said,

"Why do you think that?"

"Because I think that the song was based on you!", she said with a mischievous smile.

"Great thinking. I'll go get some rest now. Have college tomorrow. Good night!", I said and ran up to my room before Lucy said any more embarrassing sentences.

  The next day when I was at college, I saw Sophie and she looked sad. She looked like she was about to cry and whenever that happened, it meant that something had gone very wrong because Sophie is a happy-go-lucky kind of person.

"What happened, Sophie? Bored of Mondays?", I asked with a smile to cheer her up. She looked at me.

"You don't know what happened? I'll show you, come!", she said, grabbed me by the hand, and took me to a place just outside our campus.

"What's wrong?", I asked, because I still couldn't really understand what exactly had happened. She pointed to a place where I saw Lobby along with one girl though I am not sure who she was. And with that, she started crying. Now, I wanted to laugh out loud because come on! Lobby is not the kind of person whom you should cry for. All he is is just a cell-phone addict.

"You probably don't need to cry for him!", I said.

"You won't understand it, Daisy...you just won't!", she said and turned around, starting to walk. I quickly followed her.

"Sophie! All he does is just be on his mobile all day long and you are crying for-"

"You know. Lobby is to me what Ethan is to you", she said looking at me sadly.

"What is he to me?"

"Stop asking me silly questions, Daisy! I am already sad!", she shouted and ran away. However, she did return during lunch break and her mood was completely changed.

"Daisy! It's a beautiful day, isn't it?", she asked, all cheered up as if nothing had happened.

"Well, sure it is...what happened to you?", I asked.

"What will happen to me?", she answered with a smile. I felt like slapping her hard on the fact that how was she behaving. She was truly behaving like a two-faced snake. Now, of course, I couldn't talk about Lobby in front of Ethan because he was a part of his 'gang', however, I did ask Sophie later.

"You are out of what you were in the morning?"

"Of course I am! I deserve much better, you know?", she said with a smile.

"This is the Sophie I want to be best friends with!", I said. When I was reading a book that night, my phone buzzed, It was a message from the same unknown number I had forgotten to block the previous time. Tell me who can block a hundred numbers a thousand times?

"I will be inactive in stalking you for a few days...or you can say a few months...but what happens after that will be miserable, I promise,sweetheart...Wait and watch".I thought for a minute.'This person keeps on texting me that he would ruin my life or make it miserable...it's a scam for sure!", I thought to myself only to realize later that it had not been a scam...it had been something serious. Something much, much serious and miserable.
