                  EPISODE:85

                     

 ...One week remained for Christmas and I was at university that day. Actually, it was the last day of college for the year and it was a half-day. I had some study to complete, Sophie did too and Ethan had some of his assignments pending, so we three had decided to complete our work together in the cafeteria-our favorite place so that we can be free for our Christmas holidays. As I entered, I saw Ethan right away, his back toward me, and was busy working on his laptop while two of his friends were busy discussing on some sheets of paper. When they saw me come, they got up and gestured Ethan for him to look behind...in a cheesy way(of course).

"Hi Daisy, Good morning!", he greeted, turning to face me.

"Hello!", I said as my gaze went over to the laptop screen. It was a beautiful photograph of nighttime scenery with a full moon and it's delightful reflection in the lake.

"Have you clicked this picture?", I asked, taking a chair. He nodded.

"It's beautiful!!!", I said, still looking at the screen.

"Thank you!", he said smiling.

"The moon's reflection in the lake won my heart!"

"Lucky moon...", I heard him say. Now, I'm not sure whether he said that or not because it was pretty low voiced, so I couldn't make out!

"What did you just say?", I said.He laughed,

"I said, 'Yes, it's beautiful' ", he replied looking at me. By all means, that was a lie. But we can never be sure. Maybe he said that...maybe he didn't. 

"Where's Sophie?", I asked, because she was supposed to come with me.

"Wasn't she supposed to come with you?", he asked.

"She was! But I thought she came here all by herself as she has been doing from the past couple of days!", I replied. I gave her a call and she answered,

"Hey! I'm sorry, Daisy...I went home! Don't be mad at me!!!", she said, as soon as she picked up.

"Girl, you dumped me today! At least you should have texted me that you're going home!"

"As I said, I'm sorry but you have a great company with you at the moment!", she said and laughed. Honestly, just what is wrong with her. After I hung up, Ethan asked,

"So. How is your research work slash studying going?"

"Excellent as of now...excited for the holidays that I can be free for a few days!", I said, looking at the thick design study book kept in front of me.

"And yes, my work is nevertheless like your easy work, you know? Edit a photograph! I have to do all the readings and the writings and the learning!".He smiled,

"You think my work is easy?"

"Easier than mine"

"It has taken me years to learn the perfect photography!"

"But...I have a question. Out of all the streams our university offered, why chose Photography?".He raised his eyebrows ad smiled,

"Because I love it? I have been photographing since as long as I can remember."

"That's great...you click awesome pictures", I said.

"Should I consider that as flattering?", he asked with a hidden smile. I shrugged my shoulders,

"As you wish, anyway!"
