COLLEGE DIARIES
EPISODE:81
"Hello!", he said, from behind me.
"You?! Here? I was expecting you to be in the cafe!"
"No problem.Thought we'll go together? Where's Sophie?", he asked.
"She said she'll join us later...she's completing one of her pending assignments".He shook his head,
"No one should compromise for assignments, trust me".I laughed and said,
"So what? We can't submit overdue assignments like you!"
"Daisy?"
"Yes?", I said, still walking.
"Can I ask you a question?".My heart sank. Because he never talked to me like that.Weird.He laughed when he saw me panic,
"Why would you talk like that!", I said.
"Just a bit change...self-improvement.", he said, still laughing."...why do you have to be scared when I say that?!".I looked away,
"Whatever."
"Ok, ok. Sorry! So, can I ask you something?", he said again.
"Ask."
"I didn't see your mom yesterday...none of my business...but I'm curious, that's it".I breathed a sigh of relief. Why didn't he ask me this right away?
"She's gone.", I said, still walking.
"Where?"
"To hell."
"How do you say something like that to your mom, Daisy?", he said, stooping, his voice sounding serious.
"You don't know her, Ethan...and do you know how much she hates you?", I asked.
"Me?", he asked, confused. I laughed,
"Yes, you."
"How much does she hate me?", he asked smiling.
"Ten times more than she hates me."
"And what if...", he said and stopped, then looked at me, his brown eyes charming.
"What if that hate gets converted into love?".I looked away,
"It's never happening"
"What if it does one day?", he asked. I thought for a second,
"If she loves me one day then that day will be the best day of my entire life!"
"Sure?", he asked.
"Sure", I smiled.
"Promise?"
"Promise", I laughed. Sophie joined us sometime later while we were at the cafeteria. I remembered Eva's odd behavior,
"Ethan...can I ask you a question?", I asked. He laughed,
"Is it tit for tat?"
"No. It's about Eva."
"What bout her?", he asked.
"Does she hate me or something?"
"What?Nooo!!!!! In fact, she appreciates you so much."
"Oh...then why does she behave odd when I'm there?".He laughed,
"That's her nature...she's an introvert. She doesn't like talking at home as well and she gets all pissed off if I call her an introvert!"
"How do you say something like that to your sister? That's so bad", I said, trying to mimic exactly what he had told me.
"Your memory power is great.", he said smiling.
"I know!"
