COLLEGE DIARIES

                EPISODE:91

..."Here we are!", Ethan said as he parked the car in the parking lot of what looked like a nice hotel mansion. He opened the passenger door for me and we got out. It was a hotel alright, but it wasn't just any hotel, it was a beautiful, gorgeous, massive one with radiant lighting all over it. I gasped when I saw it. And the best part is that there was this huge hoarding which read, 'Congratulations Daisy and Ethan!!!'.

"God, how hard have you worked for this!!! This would have required so much planning!", I shouted out of excitement. He smiled,

"This is the beginning...let's see what's more".We walked hand-in-hand up to the hotel entrance and as soon as we reached there, I could hear some music, some singing...it was a recorded one but it sounded familiar...and it sounded magical...like something I loved. The hotel entrance part was my favorite!!! The hotel was fully fragrant and it smelled amazing...as I was busy appreciating all the little details, Ethan presented me a bouquet of red flowers...two dozen red roses.

"These are for you.", he said giving them to me. Trust me they smelled so good! And they were so, so pretty, of course.

"Thank you!", I said with a broad smile. There appeared all photographers and videographers to shoot our entry. And as we entered, I saw everyone whom I had seen back at Ethan's place. It was like a proper engagement party. The hall was lighted up beautifully with diamond chandeliers. Lucy came running towards me and whispered,

"So? Big sista? You thought I never understood you all this time?".I looked at her. There was this cheesy grin on her face which for the first time in ages made me laugh.

"Good, you knew little!", I whispered back.

"You guys are major goals! Congo!", she said.

"Come, someone wants to meet you.", Ethan said, tapping on my shoulder and took me beneath a stage that was prepared for us. The stage was decorated so gorgeously, I can't put it in words...there were photographers of mine. Me! And they were tied up with satin ribbons, to create a decor. One was a big picture of Ethan and me which someone had clicked during Ethan's party when I went to his place the first time. And the others were my pictures...every single one clicked by Ethan and do I need to tell you how good a photographer is he...one picture had me laughing, one was the same picture that had won the photography competition and many pictures were the ones I didn't know! I mean when on Earth did he click them?! And they were all close-up shorts. One even had me looking at my phone.

"Daisy. Meet grandma", Ethan said. She was just like my grandma, only a little older.

"Congratulations!", she said, hugging me.

"Your choice is fabulous, boy!", she teased him.

"I know.", he replied smiling.

"So, when am I seeing you in the white gown?", she questioned, looking at me. My wedding is what she was speaking about.Great.I had no clue to that question but Ethan came to my rescue.

"It's still going to be like two or three years later since we are both studying.", he answered. When we were up on the stage, it was the cake-cutting time. The cake was all white with golden embellishments and a cake topper which read 'Just engaged!' and the back of the stage was decorated with a huge, huge golden lettered balloon which read,'#Sythan'.It was all very cool, very elegant and very beautiful. It was so properly and accurately planned which blew away my mind. And then! Then was the time I recognized the song that was playing in the background! It was the same one that Ethan had sung in the local park back when I was pissed off. But that was a raw version, this was a proper music studio, recorded one! The sunshine song...wherein he used my name.

"I love the song!", I said, looking at him. He nodded and said,

"You love the singer?"

"Guess that answer yourself."

"I think you do?", he said, raising his eyebrow.

"I very much do!", I laughed. So many guests came and greeted us up on the stage...it was fun! I swear I felt like a celebrity! When the crowd got less and we were comfortably seated, I noticed Ethan's outfit and I realized that I had not seen his outfit all this time. Silly me.

"Your outfit looks nice.", I complimented. He fixed his red tie to create that 'fake overacting effect'.I smiled,

"Thanks, Daisy you complimented, I was waiting for this!", he laughed. Sophie came up to the stage out of nowhere with a mic in her hand and said,

"Ladies and gentlemen! On this very special day of the engagement party of two of my very, very best friends, there will be a ball-dance performance by them!".GREAT!!!! I shot her a look which meant, "Sophie. I will kill you.", to which she made a face which meant, "I know you will dance great!".You are very lucky if you have a bestie who understands facial expressions...without talking...you know it's really helpful. Ethan held my hand and we went down the stage.

"I don't know-", I started whispering to him but he said,

"Don't tell me you never wanted to ball dance?".I smiled,

"I don't know...everyone will be looking....feels odd!".The music started and I felt like Cinderella, funny to say I really felt like Cinderella. Ethan is a pro at couple dancing, I am not. I worried he would step on my dress and I would fall or something but it didn't happen. It was like he was teaching me couple dance while dancing with me!

"Right leg forward"."Turn around"."Go backward.", he kept on saying for the first few minutes and in no time I got the hang of couple dance and we danced for like one good hour...it was so fun...the music was my favorite one. At the end of our dance, everyone applauded.

"It just felt like College dance party...if that ever happened!", I said.

"We missed that, that's the reason why I arranged this dance!"

"You did!?", I asked. He nodded with a smile. It was soon dinner time and we were escorted to a small round table with two extra gorgeous chairs face to face. There was a scented candle on the table. It was a candle-light dinner! All my favorite dishes were there for dinner and the dessert part was the yummiest...

"When did you click those pictures of mine? How come I never knew?", I asked, while eating dinner.

"Guess that.", he said with a hidden smile.

"I can't guess that's why I'm asking."

"Okay, so do you know many times I came late for lunch during the break?", he asked. I nodded.

"I would be busy clicking your pictures!", he said.

"Ohh!!!! I never knew that! They are all very good ones!"

After we were done having dinner, there were some games arranged for everybody...some very cool games. Sophie came and sat beside me while Ethan went for the games.

"Daisy...you are so lucky, you will be marrying a photographer...just imagine how pretty, high-quality pictures you will get of yourself! I am sooooo happyyyyy!!!", she said. I laughed,

"I love your excitement level today and-"

"Daisy?! Sophie? Coming for the games?", Ethan shouted.

"We are!", Sophie shouted back and we went for the games. I promise you that day was wonderful....it was so much fun and it was magical...it was heavenly!

                                                             EPILOGUE

                  Two years later...

It was a sunny day and we were at the shopping mall, looking for my 'perfect' wedding dress. It was then when Sophie said,

"Daisy! Girl! Your love story is such a great one to be penned down...do consider writing it someday from the beginning".I smiled to which she again said,

"I am serious!!!"....so here I am...writing a diary filled with a bit of mischief, a bit of smile, a bit of tears, a bit of trouble, a bit of laughter, a bit of happiness, a bit of those charming brown eyes, those beautiful smiles and loads of love! Here I am writing College Diaries!
